We moved to Torquay and purchased The Cleveland in 2013 - and haven't looked back since! Looking after people is what we know and what we love to do! We look forward to welcoming you…. From the moment you arrive at The Cleveland, you will feel ‘at home’. Complimentary tea or coffee and a slice of homemade cake will be a welcome treat after your journey – relaxing in our beautiful lounge, taking in the view from the picture windows. On warmer days you can sit and relax outside on the terrace, looking out over the garden. You can also enjoy a chilled glass of wine or bottle of locally brewed ale served from our well-stocked, licensed bar – perfect for a pre-dinner drink! We will personally show you to your room, all of which are tastefully decorated and ‘spotlessly clean'. Our well-appointed rooms are all en-suite, with modern showers, luxury pocket-sprung beds and equipped with everything you will need during your stay. Complimentary ‘special touches’, such as Devon bottled water, luxury toiletries and a gift bag of our homemade fudge make a stay at The Cleveland ‘extra special’ and memorable. Our award winning breakfast will be the perfect start to your day. The focus is all about the ingredients and fantastic local suppliers, all cooked to perfection.

Neighborhood info

The Cleveland is ideally located in Torquay. We are away from the busy main roads, so you can enjoy a peaceful nights sleep. However, most of the local attractions, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance or a short taxi ride away. Public transport is very close by too, so why not leave the car and enjoy an open-top bus ride around The Bay? There is so much to see and do.
