Mum to 4 lovely children, I work as an Orthotist at our local hospital and host an airbnb. We aim to provide guests with a lovely and comfortable stay so they can enjoy their time away. I love travelling and exploring new areas when I get time. We live 10 mins away by car. A key will be left for guests to check themselves in but we will be on hand if you have any questions about the house or area.

A lovely quiet rural village with two family friendly pubs and an amazing independant supermarket that you can get anything from! There is a great childrens park and skate park. Good public transport to surrounding towns via bus and the train station - Gobowen is only 2 miles away. However it is best have a car to get the most out of your stay. We are very close to Oswestry, Llangollen, Wrexham and Ellesmere, with Shrewsbury and Chester only being 30 minutes drive. We are in a great location for the welsh hills and fantastic walks, mountain bikes and climbing routes. If you fancy a day to the city manchester is 1hr 10 away or the beach is 1hr 30mins drive. To get the best out your stay at The Cob House having and car is preferable. That way you will be able to explore the fantastic area we are situated in. We are located in a rural village. Public transport is available via bus from the village and will take you into Oswestry via Gobowen train station or Ellesmere. Recommended taxi company: Burgess Oswestry I would recommend that you precooked your taxi.
