Set right on the South West coast path, The Cricket Inn is located in the quaint coastal village of Beesands, between the popular towns of Dartmouth and Kingsbridge in South Devon. Designed in a boutique New England style and awarded 4 Gold stars by the AA, The Cricket Inn boasts seven beautifully appointed bedrooms, five with unrivalled views of the crystal-clear waters of Start Bay and Start Point Lighthouse in the distance. Each room has been recently renovated to the highest standard and the en-suite bathrooms all have walk-in showers. Each room comes equipped with brand-new smart TV’s, complimentary toiletries and new Nespresso machines in each room. The King-size beds have pocket-sprung mattresses, 100% cotton linen and luxurious feather and down quilts which, coupled with the sound of the crashing waves, will be sure to provide the perfect night’s sleep.

Neighborhood info

Over the years, the Cricket has survived storms, a bomb in 1942, plus a mudslide that passed through the Inn from back to front. The Exeter based Heavitree Brewery bought the pub on 29th September 1928 and Nigel and Rachel took over as landlords in 2001. After a renovation in 2006 and an extension in 2010, they transformed the modest 4 bedroomed village Inn into the 7 bedroomed award-winning establishment it is today.
