The restaurant and B&B are family run and someone from the family is also around to help or assist guests in any way. It was a lifelong dream of the family to open a small restaurant and B & B and we are very exciting to welcome everyone to The Family Tree. RESTAURANT IS A DAYTIME ONE AND CLOSES AT 4PM. MANY THANKS

The Family Tree is a coffee lounge, licensed bar/restaurant and B & B situated in Whatstandwell, on the A6 just 5 miles south of Matlock . We are located in the beautiful Amber Valley on the banks of the picturesque River Derwent just outside the Peak District. We are a family run establishment pleased to offer breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas, delicious home-made cakes and refreshing beverages. The restaurant is open seven days a week from 9am- 4pm with the last food orders at 3.30pm.
