When the bright lights of the city beckon, choose from Bristol or Bath. The city of Bristol offers a great day out and we recommend taking a boat trip around the historic harbour. Meanwhile, a trip to the Roman city of Bath, which is a World Heritage Site, is a must and no visit would be complete without a visit to the historic Roman Baths. Visiting some of the bigger villages of the Cotswolds is also a must. Burford, Cirencester, Bibury, and Tetbury are all within striking distance and have a lovely choice of bistros and boutiques, whilst other locations, such as Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Campden have great pubs and tea shops. Central London is around an hour away and perfect for those who love an active day out.
