The hamlet of Hutton John is located just off the A66, the location is perfect for exploring Lake Ullswater, Keswick, Caldbeck Fells and accessing the Eden Valley. There are an abundance of walks from the door including Great Mell Fell which leads to Aira Force and the Caldbeck Fells are a short drive. Lake Ullswater offers numerous watersport opportunities including canoeing, wind surfing and paddle boarding, or if a quieter way of life if preferred jump aboard the Ullswater Steamers and take in the views as you sail around the lake. The Rheged centre with shops, cinema and galleries are a short drive away, as is Dalemain House and the Alpaca Centre. The Gardeners Cottage is a luxury cottage for 2 people wishing to enjoy a relaxing break away in a peaceful setting, tucked away in the walled garden of the estate. With all modern comforts this cottage provides everything needed to ensure your stay is truly memorable no matter when you choose to stay. Overlooking the garden and woodland, the balcony is the place to catch up on the latest novel or linger over your morning cuppa. After a day’s adventuring dine al fresco on the patio surrounded by peace and tranquillity before soaking in the wood-fired hot tub. The cottage has oil central heating and comprises: Lounge with views across the garden and a feature stone wall with fireplace with a Jack and Jill wood burning stove, comfy sofas in front to the TV. Dining room with beamed ceiling, feature stone wall and ‘Jack and Jill’ wood burning stove. Beamed kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Study. Wet room with seat and WC. Spacious master bedroom with king size bed, sofa and balcony with table and chairs. En-suite shower room with hand basin and WC.
