The Haymaker is a typical village Inn steeped in history and complete with its own ghost story "busty Victoria" no longer works here unfortunately tell but the story can be found in the dining room. Recently purchased by independent local owners and refurbished to a high standard The Haymaker staff are keen to help you enjoy your stay, why not enjoy one of our homemade meals in the restaurant now open during the lunchtime or evening? Or just enjoy a pint of Otter in the bar watching skittles .
Carrie, Jason and family have lived in the area all their life and would be happy to tell you about our local area. Our chefs pride themselves in catering for those with special diets, Vegans, Gluten free and Dairy free are always available, special requests? Contact us and we will cater for you. We are very proud of our staff and their ability to cater for special dietary needs, we keep vegetarian/vegan meals in stock and have a selection of dairy free and gluten free items, if you let us know we can put soya milk in your rooms instead of normal
We are set on the edge of the Blackdown hills ANOB (area of natural beauty) also within a short distance to the A303 and A30 making your journey easier. Wadeford is a peaceful hamlet nestled within the Somerset countryside yet a stones throw away from both Devon and Dorset.
