Sheppey Village is a fantastic coastal destination with plenty to see and do! To save you from traveling all the way around via Leysdown, you can use the local walking shortcut. With the rear of the chalet to your left, follow the road down and turn right. Continue until you see a gate on your left entering the Little Groves site. From there, simply walk straight past the pond to find the second gate leading directly over to the sea. The local club house is conveniently located nearby. It normally serves delicious food in the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays, alongside a traditional Roast Dinner on Sundays. If you are looking for an excellent breakfast or incredible homemade steak pies, The Coastal Cafe located right in Leysdown is a must-visit. I also highly recommend checking out The Dining Room Indian restaurant. The vibrant center of Leysdown is just a short distance away. It is fully packed with fantastic local cafes, restaurants, fish and chip takeaways, and classic family amusement arcades.
