George and Juliet own The Lodge on the Marsh and look after a number of other holiday homes through Wightbnb. We love meeting new people and enjoy making our guests feel at home.

Property info

The Lodge on the Marsh is unique, the only bed and breakfast overlooking the RSPB Brading Marshes Nature Reserve. It is simple rustic cabin with stunning views overlooking the marshes and Culver Down. There is a private bird hide for our guests to use in the garden. Quiet and peaceful, yet only a few minutes from the best beaches on the Island. A perfect hideaway, perfect for walkers, nature lovers, cyclists or just those wishing to spend a few days away.

Neighborhood info

The Lodge overlooks the RSPB Brading Marsh Nature Reserve and Culver Down. A gate from the garden takes you directly on to the old Victorian railway track to Bembridge or on to the footpath which takes you across the marsh towards Culver Down. The marshes are famous for their variety of birds and wildlife so a paradise for nature lovers. The Lodge is only three miles from the nearest beaches. Brading village is just a few minutes walk from the Lodge and offers guests a selection of restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops, church, museum and even a Roman villa. It is a perfect place from which to explore the Island.
