The Loft is situated on the second floor of a Victorian building with stunning views over the rooftops of Midhurst and glimpses of the Cowdray Ruins beyond. On entering The Loft’s hallway you immediately notice the wonderful light and airy feel to this sympathetically furnished loft-style apartment. The living area is especially inviting with comfortable sofas and an open wood fire at its centre. Equipped with a large Smart television, which has both Sky channels and Freeview, as well as Wifi throughout the property there is enough to entertain everyone! There is also a Wireless printer should you have to carry out any work during your stay. The beautifully appointed, double-aspect kitchen has every amenity you could need including a large range cooker, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and washing machine alongwith a useful Nespresso coffee machine. There is a dining table for four available in this room; a perfect spot for breakfast. The bedrooms are lovely and light with great views from both. The spacious principal bedroom has a superking bed as well as large fitted wardrobes with double doors that lead through to the lounge. The second bedroom has a double bed
The Loft was a labour of love it was totally renovated by myself exposing brickwork & adding a very eclectic mix of personal touches & furniture some of which I’ve renovated myself. Creating an airy very homely feel. I was initially attracted to Midhurst through my love of Polo which is very popular in the summer & is within easy access behind The Loft a short walk to Cowdray Park Polo events. The Ruins make a beautiful backdrop & are also popular for weddings.
The area is of outstanding beauty with the South Downs walks & West Witterngs beaches & Chichester are also very close by. Goodwood Festival of Speed & the Revival are hugely popular events along with Glorious Goodwood horse racing. Midhurst itself is a thriving town with an array of restaurants & cafes all within walking distance from The Loft. There’s interesting shopping on West Street with some lovely boutique shops. There’s lots of lovely country pubs nearby to visit.
