‘The Nest’ is a beautiful one bedroom self-contained annexe attached to our home on the levels in rural Somerset. The property is located in Burrowbridge and was recently decorated in February 2023. The garden room boasts a brand new log burner and has stunning views over the picturesque garden. The bedroom has dual aspect views, with one side looking out to the River Tone and the other on rolling fields where deer often make an appearance. There is an option to sleep an additional two people on the sofabed in the snug area should you wish. You have a fridge, microwave, air fryer and portable double induction hob in the kitchenette if you would like to take advantage of the self-catering option. We are lucky to be a short 8 minute river walk from the dog friendly local pub - the King Alfred which serves delicious home cooked food. The property backs onto the River Tone with direct access via a side garden gate which means you can walk for miles directly from the property. You will see an abundance of wildlife including woodpeckers, white doves and a wide range of garden birds. You can enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset during your stay - should you be lucky with the British weather! The area is renowned for walking, cycling and fishing. You will have your own parking space at ‘The Nest' and there is free wifi throughout the property. We are a pet friendly property and would love to meet our furry guests.

Hello! We are a couple who relocated to Somerset from London about 2 years ago. Both teachers, we work in local schools and would like to be able to share our lovely home and the area we live in and love with our guests. We have two lovely dogs called Gloria and Kevin, and we love to walk along the river, run and go away in our caravan. You may spot us at times pottering in the garden or filling up the bird feeders!

Burrowbridge is on the Somerset Levels and a perfect place for walking, cycling and fishing. A stay won’t be complete without a jaunt up the Burrow Mump followed by a meal in the local pub. Burrowbridge is situated 15 minutes from both Taunton and Bridgwater and just over 20 minutes from Glastonbury.
