We bought Claremont House B&B in April 2019 and had this old stone building at the rear being used as the laundry. The views were stunning so over lockdown we re jigged it and built a superb Airbnb style self contained unit, now know as "The Nook". The Nook has views of Latrigg from the shower and Catbells from the kitchen!! The superking bed can be split into twins. Storage is limited to a small open wardrobe, under the bed drawers and a wooden open up bench, so backpacks are the better option. I provide tea, coffee, milk, bread, cereals, butter and jam and loads of biscuits ( essential fell walking fuel!)

Really easy to pop up to the Castlerigg stone circles, Latrigg, Walla car and Castlr head from the Nook. Head down Manor Brow to get into Keswick, or turn right and make way to the old railway line to take you to Fitz park side of town.
