The Old Pig Sty is newly renovated cottage for the 2023 season, and as the name suggests it was previously used as a Pig Sty. We are set approximately 10mins from Abergavenny Town where the nearest shops, supermarkets, pubs etc are located. There are plenty of walking & cycling opportunities straight out of the door or a short drive away. And if you like cold water swimming Keepers pond is a very short drive away where alot of people frequent to enjoy this sport. The cottage boasts beautiful views of the Blorenge mountains and sits opposite our Pygmy goats who you may see basking in the sunshine on a warm summers day. Please be aware that to get to the property you will have to drive up some country lanes which can be steep and narrow in places. WiFi is also not provided although 4G signal can be reached with most network providers. The property is set out over 2 floors consisting of: Kitchen Living room with log burner Downstairs toilet Upstairs is the bedroom with King size bed and bathroom with bath and shower. Outside there is a small seating area where you can sit out and enjoy the views.

We are located on the side of the Blorenge mountain in Abergavenny. Access is via Country lanes which can be quite steep in parts. The closest town is approximately 5miles away in Abergavenny. Here you'll find a vast amount of restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and small shops along with a regular market on a Tuesday & Saturday. Abergavenny is host to its annual Food festival every September along with lots of other events throughout the year. This is renowned by alot of the top chefs across the country and very popular with the locals and visitors from further afield.
