KHEW Ltd is our own business and was established in 2024 run by myself and my partner. The company owns Thrunton Vale Cottages which and have been run by us since April 2025.

Property info

Welcome to The Old Tearooms at Thrunton Vale Cottages; once a roadside garage and tearooms on the A697. One of two pet friendly adjoining cottages, set against the backdrop of Thrunton Woods; known for enchanted walks, mountain biking and horse riding. Nestled in the heart of rural Northumberland between Alnwick and Rothbury. Offering beautiful countryside views for the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and explore Northumberland with family or friends.

Neighborhood info

Thrunton Vale Cottages are set back from the A697 alongside a couple of private residences, not far from Thrunton Long Crag Trout Fishery. Within are very short drive are Thrunton Woods Tea Room and Thrunton Woods. These can also be reached by foot using the public footpath that goes through the fishery within about 20 mins. Learchild Dog Field is a 1 min drive north of the cottages. Edlingham Castle and Railway Viaduct is also nearby, just a short 8-10 min drive towards Alnwick.
