Company info

The Plough Inn is owned and run by chef-patron Richard and professional hotelier Marianne. They have over thirty years’ combined experience in hospitality and, perhaps unsurprisingly, they’re both self-confessed foodies. Richard has spent much of his life cheffing in the South East, whilst Marianne has worked for over a decade in hotel operations. A one-time finalist in the prized Savoy Gastronomes Olive Barnett Award and past Acorn winner, Marianne strongly believes in supporting local suppliers – a philosophy shared by her husband. Together, Richard and Marianne have made The Plough a place where you can eat, drink and make merry whether you’re a visiting couple, family, or group marking a special occasion. So come and enjoy some fabulous food, delightful drinks, and leave your troubles far, far, behind. Cheers.
