Upton is perfectly placed to discover the delights of the Cotswolds, the magnificent Malvern Hills, as well as local farms, vineyards and the stunning walks along the Severn Way. Or if you prefer, abandon the car for your stay, and visit our local restaurants, shops and tea rooms, all within a few minutes walk of the front door - or spend an evening listening to the birds in the peaceful courtyard garden. Upton has a long tradition of festivals, including the Blues Festival, the Folk Festival, as well as the now much loved Sunshine Festival which rounds off the summer season. The Three Counties Showground, with its myriad events throughout the year, is within 15 minutes drive, whilst the fabulous Cheltenham Racecourse, and it’s world famous Cheltenham Festival, is a mere 30 minutes drive away. Located at the heart of the three counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, there are innumerable historic homes, gardens and cathedrals on the doorstep. The choice is yours.
