This 17th-century Elizabethan inn has a peaceful location in the Troutbeck Valley, with weaving footpaths that link the nearby ancient hamlets. It offers à la carte cuisine, and is 1.5 miles from the former home of Beatrix Potter. Rooms at The Queen's Head Hotel have traditional furnishings with a contemporary twist. Each comes with a multi-channel TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. There is free WiFi in some of the rooms, and space for free private parking on site.
