Marnwood School House is a beautiful holiday cottage with bags of charm. The cottage dates back 200 years, where it was originally used as a school house for the poor by Reverend Bartlett in 1824. The School House shares a courtyard and garden with The Lodge next door. The property has been fully restored to an excellent standard, whilst still retaining its period character. The property is just a few minutes drive from Ironbridge, which offers lots of attractions and activities for all ages, as well as great places to eat.

Nestled in the Ironbridge Gorge, close to the river Severn. Within walking distance to restaurants and public houses in Ironbridge. The property sits in the grounds of Marnwood estate. Although Ironbridge Gorge is just a short walk away, we do recommend having a car to fully explore the region. There is free, secure parking at the School House.
