A unique and peaceful retreat for two in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The apartment set in a 1500 acre upland farm in the Yorkshire Dales where nature takes the lead. Curlews calling in the spring, dippers in the river, red grouse on the fell. Perfect for fell walking straight from your door or as a base to explore the dales. Nearby Ingleton provides local shops and walks along the river to the famous water fall trail plus easy access to the Yorkshire Three Peaks and the Lakes by car.
I am the Farm and Conservation Manager at Kingsdale Head. I have a background in wildlife conservation and have been involved in a wide range of work from peatland restoration and catchment based approach to conservation grazing and managing holiday lets. Since school I have always had a love of wilder upland places, gained growing up and studying in Scotland and I am very happy to be living and working in a place like Kingsdale Head.
