Our adjacent barns have been converted to provide a modern comfortable interior while retaining some of the architectural features including exposed beams. The barns are furnished to a high standard, we provide 100% cotton bed linen, towels, electricity, WiFi and a welcome basket. There is a small courtyard garden to the front of each bar with outside seating and a BBQ. They are equipped with a 40" smart TV in the lounge and master bedrooms allowing you to use catch up services, Netflix and Amazon (using your own account). We provide free Fast Wifi.

We love to spend time in Dorset and enjoy the times that we get to stay at the barns ourselves. We took on the first barn in 2011 adding the second a few years later. Having stayed at many holiday properties we want to make sure we exceed our guests expectations. The barns are well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses to allow you to entertain without having to wash up all the time. We include a dishwasher and a washer dryer. We love to hear from our guests and constantly ask for feedback to continue to improve, we have been rated as 9.9 for our booking com reviews. We look forward to welcoming you to the barns, we are confident you will enjoy your stay.

The barns are located in a small village in between Sherborne and Yeovil. There are some great country walks including a short walk through the grounds of Compton House to visit Trenchermans our local food and wine store. Compton house was until recently a butterfly farm that produced the silk for Princess Diana's wedding dress. We have a traditional local pub around half a mile walk and a great gastro pub The Rose and Crown in Trent just 1.5 miles. There is something for everyone either exploring rural Dorset or days at the Seaside. Other attractions include Bath, Longleat, Wooky Hole, the Jurassic coast and more.
