Embleton is a small village dating back beyond medieval times with a number of restaurants and pubs on your doorstep, a local village shop and garage which lies just a mile from the Northumberland Coast. One of the main attractions is the stunning Embleton Bay, a gloriously wide sandy beach that appears to stretch for miles. ACCOMMODATION (GROUND FLOOR with internal steps down to the kitchen and shower room) Open plan kitchen / dining and living area. Lounge with large comfy sofa, multi fuel stove, Smart TV and music system. Dining table and chairs. King-size bed. Mezzanine floor accessed via a narrow spiral staircase with a seating area and table with views of the sea and towards Dunstanburgh Castle. The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has a village pub and a local hotel, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick. The gardens at nearby Howick Hall are open during the summer and are noted for their beauty, whilst Alnwick Castle and Garden are a 'must-see' when visiting the area. For the keen golfer, Dunstanburgh Links Course is about 1 mile away - just one of several excellent courses in the vicinity.
