The Studio is a detached, self-contained property, set in its own garden with panoramic landscape views. It is in a very peaceful, rural location, ideal for those wishing to have a quiet place to stay. It is open-plan and spacious and has a fully-equipped separate kitchen for self-catering. The heating is all electric and because the property is well insulated, it is very cosy in the cold weather. Free parking is available on site for up to two cars. However, please note that we do not provide parking for Camper Vans.
We both enjoy spending time outdoors and working in our large garden. We are keen cyclists and walkers and like to travel.
Keinton Mandeville is a lovely village, with a friendly shop and a busy traditional inn serving good food. Nearby at West Lydford there is a supermarket and garage. There are local walks and cycle rides through lanes and by the river, and bird watching at nearby Ham Wall on the Somerset levels. Green Down nature reserve is an important breeding ground for the Large Blue butterfly. If you walk on Green Down and spot an unusual building, I wonder if you can guess its original purpose?
