Cushendall Coastal Accommodation offers three distinct properties, all personally managed by Paul. The first is a studio at the brow of the hill above Cushendall Bay, arranged in one open room with a pitched vaulted ceiling, king bed, sofa and wall-mounted Smart TV. A kitchenette runs along one side with sink, microwave, under-counter fridge and breakfast bar with two stools, while the en-suite has a walk-in shower, WC and washbasin. Stacked washer and dryer are tucked into the room for longer stays and coastal walks. A covered outdoor area overlooking the bay is shared with the neighbouring unit and suitable for a barbecue. The one-bedroom flat sits perched above the coast with bay views, offering a double bed in the bedroom and double sofa bed in the living area for a third guest. It has a wall-mounted Smart TV with Netflix, breakfast bar, compact kitchenette with microwave, fridge, sink, kettle and toaster, tiled shower room with corner walk-in shower, and washing machine and dryer. Central heating runs throughout with towels, tea, coffee and sugar provided. Access is up a hill to the brow, then around the decking to the rear entrance. A covered outdoor seating area overlooks the bay and is shared with other guests. The first-floor studio in central Cushendall offers open-plan living with sea views towards the Mull of Kintyre, a king bed, sofa facing a wall-mounted Samsung Smart TV with Netflix, and a compact kitchenette with kettle, toaster, microwave and air fryer. The en-suite has a corner shower with rainfall head and heated towel rail, and a washing machine and dryer are available. All three properties feature self check-in via lockbox with full instructions sent on arrival day. Parking is available at each location, though spaces are not guaranteed at all properties.
I'm Paul, and I look after these three properties personally in Cushendall. I know the Glens of Antrim well and am happy to share tips on local beaches, walks, traditional music sessions and places to eat. I aim to answer messages promptly throughout your stay, whether you need a local recommendation or help with the property. Self check-in via lockbox keeps your arrival straightforward, so you can settle in at your own pace without waiting around. I want you to have a genuine feel for the area and enjoy the best that Cushendall and the Glens have to offer.
Cushendall is a quiet coastal village in the heart of the Glens of Antrim, known for its traditional Irish music and unhurried pace. The village sits between the sea and mountains, with Lurigethan rising behind, and the village centre is a twelve to fifteen minute walk from the properties. Cushendall Beach is a pebble and shingle beach with a promenade and views to the Mull of Kintyre, a fifteen to twenty-five minute walk depending on which property you're staying in. The village offers traditional pubs within walking distance: The Central Bar, The Lurig Inn and McCollam's Pub are all known for live traditional music sessions, while Harry's Restaurant serves locally sourced seafood. A village bus runs through Cushendall with stops nearby, connecting to beaches and Glenariff Forest Park, and a local taxi service is available. For exploring further, Glenariff Forest Park, known as the Queen of the Glens, is a ten to fifteen minute drive with waterfalls and riverside walks. Layd Church Ruins, a thirteenth-century monastery, is a scenic coastal walk of thirty to forty minutes or a five-minute drive. Cushendun Caves, a Game of Thrones filming location, are around ten minutes by car. Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and the Giant's Causeway are thirty to forty minutes away. A car is useful for exploring the Antrim coast, and Belfast International Airport is around an hour's drive.
