Arrive in the lovely rural village of Ruthwell and park in the driveway of the cottage (adjacent to the main house), where there is a dedicated parking space just for guests. On entry, you will be greeted by the charming, light & bright kitchen along with the open plan dining & sitting area. Cosy but spacious, the sitting room is great for a night in front of the TV after a fun filled day exploring the area, or for a family games night. Enjoy an evening glass of wine (or morning coffee) in the garden with views to the beautiful countryside beyond. You may well spot deer or pheasant or hare in the adjacent fields and will certainly see a variety of wild birds. The master bedroom (double) is beautifully presented with a super comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds which are always a huge hit with the little ones! A modern bathroom with both bath & shower means both a quick shower in the morning or long soak after a day packed with activities is possible. Pets are welcome. Please advise at time of booking if you wish to bring pets. Guests have access to the entire property and garden.

Will & Val are a retired couple who used to run a busy seaside B&B business and have retired into the countryside. The Wee Hoose is self catering accommodation and they will respect that you wish to be left alone to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.
