Property info

18th Century barn lovingly restored in 2017 to a four bedroom holiday dwelling sleeping eight. This stunning Westmorland barn offers authentic Lake District architecture with every modern amenity. Thornyfield farmstead is undoubtedly one of the oldest in the area. The house dates back to 1580 – additional buildings being added as the owners prospered. This barn is believed to have been added around 1800, its first existence on a map being 1860.
