Tintagel is a gem of a village on the north Cornwall coast and the perfect location enjoy what Cornwall has to offer. The world famous King Arthurs Castle ruins and heritage site are only 16 minutes walk from the house. In 2020 a new bridge was built to allow easy pedestrian access to the castle Island and vistor centre. Tintagel village has local shops and traditional English Real Ale Pubs and restuarants serving traditional menus such as the famous Cornish Paties and Cream Teas. There are nearby beaches at Bossiney and Trebarwith Strand for bathing and surfing and of course the stunning walks along the South West Coastal Path which is connected directly from the village and doorstep of the house. Nearby places all within 30 minutes drive include Boscatle fishing village, Port Isac which has been made famous by the TV series Doc Martin and Rock and Padstow the home of celebrity chefs Gordan Ramsey and Rick Stein. The Camel Valley cycle track is a great way to spend the day picking up rental bikes at either Wadebridge or Padstow and cycling along the easy and beautiful cycle way to the Camel Valley Vinyard. Slightly further within 45 mins away are Newquay and The Eden Project
