Located approximately 200m up Moelygolfa mountain, Trewern near Welshpool, with amazing views and an ideal location for hill walking and cycling The cottage is backed by SSSI woodland with Rodneys Pillar, Middletown hill and the Gypsy monument within walking distance, perfect for anyone wanting to explore mid Wales and Shropshire It was built in 1850, boasting abundant character with oak beams, wood burning stove and one double bedroom and dressing room. Welshpool and Powys Castle are 5 miles away and Shrewsbury 15 miles. Due to its location up a hill, and numerous steps this cottage may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility and children. Please be advised the cottage interior is non-smoking and non-vaping Details: Sleeps up to 2 with 1 double bed and a dressing room accessed by separate staircases. Please be advised that there are several changes of level, steps and staircases within the cottage and the front bedroom is open to the landing The cottage consists of one bedroom, one dressing room, large downstairs shower room, sitting/ dining room with electric heater, wood burning stove, Smart TV with Freeview, Netflix and blu-ray DVD player, kitchen consisting of electric heater, electric range cooker, microwave, air fryer, fridge, slimline dishwasher, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery Bed linen and towels are provided Outside sitting area with garden furniture and garden to the side.
