Tuns House is a Grade 2 Listed Building that sits at the head of the village of Eggleston overlooking the village green. It offers 2 very comfortable ensuite kingsize bedrooms with views over the green. The whole of the property has been expertly and stylishly renovated to provide luxury accommodation. Guests have use of a snug/sitting room and breakfast is served in the homes dining room. The house is surrounded by wonderful views over the dales
Eggleston is a small village situated on the Teesdale Way which is a popular walking trail in the Dales. It is 10 mins drive to both Barnard Castle and Middleton in Teasdale which are popular tourist destinations with many attractions such as the Bowes Museum. Raby Castle and deer park is a short 20 minute drive as is High Force with its magnificent water falls. Eggleston also has the benefit of The Moorcock Inn which serves good tasty food and is a 5 minute walk from the property and Romaldkirk is a 5 minute drive which has the very popular Rose and Crown inn which serves high quality cuisine. There are many walks and trails in the area to enjoy and explore!
