Turning tides cottage is a cosy and quaint fisherman’s cottage situated on the sandy cliffs of Scratby with stunning sea views. A stones throw from the beach, the cottage is ideal for a couple seeking a coastal retreat or a young family to enjoy family beach holidays. This character 2 bedroom cottage has a multi fuel wood burner stove in the cosy lounge for those cosy nights in after a day walking one of the many coastal walks exploring our stunning coastline. Bijou kitchen with everything you need for cooking a hearty meal inc air fryer. Small downstairs wet room with shower, toilet and wash basin. Upstairs 2 bedrooms, one double, and bunk beds in the second bedroom (these are short beds and not ideally suited to adults) both with sea views. The fisherman’s cottage also has a beautiful rear garden (which is bisected and accessed using a communal passage way) where you can relax, have a bbq and still hear the sea. Small front enclosed garden with table and chairs for you to enjoy the morning coffee with a view of the sea. Very family friendly with childrens books and games and not forgetting a selection of buckets and spades for your day on the beach. PLEASE NOTE The stairs in the cottage are a traditional Norfolk winder stair case and are steep so please be mindful when booking.. Car parking is free and directly opposite in the carpark, there are no time restrictions on parking.

There is loads to do in and around the local area. One big highlight not to be missed though and mentioned by virtually all our guests to a trip to Horsey to see the seals bathing on the beach. Unless it’s pup season you can walk amongst them on the beach.
