Upper Marcam House is a spacious three-storey apartment with views over the estuary towards East Portlemouth, only a short walk from the heart of Salcombe. Sleeping up to five people, the property has three bedrooms, (a 4’6” double, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom), plus there is a family bathroom and an additional cloakroom. There is also a large open-plan living / dining / kitchen area, and a utility/shower room. The property has full-width sliding patio doors which lead onto a substantial balcony with barbeque and outdoor furniture. A fabulous central base for a family holiday, with or without your dog, Upper Marcam House is a wonderful seaside retreat. One well behaved dog permitted. Strictly No Smoking

Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens.
