Welcome to our Lodge which we’ve called V+B’s Hygge! It used to be known as Windermere View and that says “what it does on the tin” but Hygge describes the feeling! Our cosy Lakes home overlooks Lake Windermere, so whether you’re sat on the sofa or on the veranda you can watch the changing colours of the lake and the fells. In fact I’ve been visiting the lakes all my life and you normally have to leave your rented place to see the Lake but not here – you see it all from the lodge.

My family has been coming to the Lakes for over one hundred years, my dad and his brother used to cycle from Blackpool for a day trip in the 1920s! We've now bought our own place and love it here!

We are situated on the 5-star conservation rated White Cross Bay Holiday Park, set in pretty woodland, with streams running down to the shore of Lake Windermere. So whether you want to be active or just want to chill this is the perfect site. The lodge itself is on Pony Meadow one of only two areas that overlook the lake and provide direct access to the marina within in minutes. It is also lovely and quiet as we back onto the woodland so there are no lodges or caravans behind us.
