Perfect for couples or solo getaways, this beautifully finished cottage offers a peaceful rural retreat with everything you need for a comfortable stay. ✨ What you’ll love • Warm, characterful interior with exposed beams • Comfortable double bed for a restful night’s sleep • Compact kitchen • Private outdoor deck — perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks. Wake up to fresh country air, explore nearby countryside walks, and enjoy the calm of farm life — all just a short drive from Alnwick.
Longframlington is a really charming Northumberland village that feels properly rural but still lively and welcoming. It sits just off the A697, surrounded by rolling countryside, farmland, and woodland, so you get that peaceful, scenic feel without being cut off. What makes it stand out is the balance — it’s not just a sleepy village. There are a couple of well-regarded pubs, a good village shop, a café, and even an artisan bakery, so there’s actually a bit going on day to day. It’s the kind of place where you can walk out the door straight into countryside, but still grab a decent coffee or a pint nearby. It’s also in a great spot for exploring — you’re within easy reach of the Northumberland coast, places like Alnwick, and the National Park, so it works well as both a base and a place to settle. Overall, it’s one of those villages that feels genuinely “Northumberland” — friendly, unspoilt, and quietly picturesque, with just enough life to keep it interesting.
