Sowerbys Holiday Cottages started up in 2002 and has grown gradually with a portfolio of 300 hand-picked cottages we would all like to stay in. Appreciating the need to be nearby in the event of any issues that need resolving, we have deliberately limited the range of our cottages to a relatively small localised area of outstanding natural beauty, within 20 minutes drive of Burnham Market. We pride ourselves on offering a personal, professional service to both our owners and our guests. Our owners can relax in the knowledge that we are looking after all aspects of their holiday homes; and our guests can relax knowing that we all live locally and have a genuine desire to help in the event of an emergency, or simply to offer local advice on what to do, where to eat etc.

Violet is a unique converted old boat which has been transformed into a contemporary beach house, perfect for two couples or a family, ideally situated close to the sand dunes leading onto Heacham's South Beach. This lovely original boat has a newly built decked balcony with stunning views overlooking the river and open countryside at the back, with direct access onto the sand dunes from the front. It has been completely refurbished inside with a new kitchen, shower room, separate cloakroom and three well-presented bedrooms, being thoughtfully furnished and equipped to provide the ideal holiday home. After long days on the beach there's a light, contemporary dining/sitting area room with glazed doors opening onto the balcony with river views. This is a great place to stay throughout the year as it's toasty warm in the winter with gas central heating and perfect for exploring the Norfolk coastline. Heacham Heacham is a large village located on the West Norfolk coast and home to two sandy beaches originally called North and South beach. There is a wide selection of shops and pubs and the newly opened Heacham Manor Hotel with its 18 hole golf course. Also in Heacham is Caley Mill which is an early 19th century water mill and now the site of Norfolk Lavender which has all the known varieties of lavender and is open to the public.
