Waterford Lodge Hotel is a refurbished 18th-century coaching inn located on the River Wansbeck, close to the center of Morpeth, and with good transport links to Newcastle. The Waterford has a convenient location, close to the heart of the historic market town of Morpeth and just a few hundred yards from Morpeth Railway Station. Trains run regularly from the station to Newcastle, London and Edinburgh. The historic, award-winning Carlisle Park is next to the hotel. We serve meals only in the Pub/Bar. Free Wi-Fi only in the bar area. There is a private off-street car park with free parking available for guests located at the back of the parking lot. Rooms are traditionally furnished, and each comes with its own bathroom. You can also enjoy facilities for making tea and coffee, and a TV with satellite channels. A bridal room is also available.

This beautiful 18th century coaching inn has masses of character and charm. The Waterford Lodge Hotel is the perfect venue to celebrate your special occasion. We currently offer a Double room one night stay package for two, including a bottle of prosecco and a meal(only 1 main/person) for two. At the generous price of 125.00 GBP. *Available fridays and Saturdays. Price changes to 160.00 GBP on the 7th September 2024. Situated in the delightful market town of Morpeth, the Waterford Lodge really is a great location, moments from the center of town. The Waterford Lodge has splendid accommodation, including our luxurious bridal suite with four poster bed. A choice of double, twin and family rooms is available, all fitted with en-suite facilities. It also has a fantastic restaurant and bar as well as a large and spacious function room.
