Kingsbridge sits near the mouth of a marine estuary in the South Hams region of South Devon, making it a popular tourist destination. A three-screen cinema, an award-winning tavern, and a plethora of independent stores can be found in Kingsbridge. Salcombe, which sits on the banks of the Kingsbridge Estuary and is one of South Devon's beautiful towns, is accessible by ferry during the summer months. Salcombe is a watersports mecca for kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding, and powerboating, as well as for taking in the picturesque coastline vistas. There are a slew of independent businesses, high-end retailers, and restaurants providing locally sourced seafood, not to mention Salcombe Gin and Ice cream! You can go to Kingsbridge from Totnes by train and then get a local bus that will take you to the town centre.
