Waterside Cottage is a charming three-storey cottage in the heart of Flushing, offering comfortable accommodation and beautiful harbour views towards Falmouth. The ground floor features a cosy open-plan living and dining area with a log burner, a well-equipped kitchen, utility room and downstairs WC. On the first floor, you’ll find a kingsize bedroom, twin bedroom and family bathroom. The top floor offers a further kingsize bedroom with en-suite and elevated harbour views. Please note the stairs leading to the top floor are steep and may not suit all guests. Outside, there is a private decked courtyard with outdoor dining furniture, perfect for relaxed evenings after a day exploring Cornwall. The cottage includes central heating, fast WiFi, smart TV with Amazon Fire Stick, BOSE music system, board games and puzzles. The kitchen is fully equipped with double ovens, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine and Nutribullet, while the utility room includes a washing machine, freezer and microwave. Two kayaks with life jackets and oars are also available for guest use. Families are well catered for with a travel cot, highchair, baby bath and changing mat provided. As the cottage sits in the centre of the village, there is a bus stop just outside the front of the property. You may occasionally hear light chatter or passing buses, particularly in the mornings. Getting to Falmouth is easy: 🚗 10 minutes by car 🚌 15 minutes by direct bus from outside the cottage ⛴️ 2-minute walk to Flushing Quay, followed by a 10-minute ferry crossing Flushing is a beautiful waterside village with excellent pubs, restaurants and a village shop all within walking distance.

Flushing is a peaceful waterside village directly opposite Falmouth, known for its pretty streets, welcoming atmosphere and views across the harbour. Guests enjoy being able to reach Falmouth easily without needing to drive. The ferry from Flushing Quay takes around 10 minutes and runs every 30 minutes, and the direct bus stops right outside the property. Falmouth’s beaches, restaurants and shops are all within easy reach. In the village itself, there are three popular places to eat and drink, including Harbour House, The Royal Standard and The Waterside Restaurant. The local shop is just around the corner and stocks daily essentials. Scenic coastal and countryside walks nearby make the area popular with dog owners, as well as those looking to explore the Cornish south coast.
