Waves is a large 2-bedroom duplex apartment with sea views. There is kingsized bed in one bedroom, and the other bedroom has a single bed and bunkbeds. Perfect for a family of 5 or a couple just wanting to get away & have a bit more space. Waves is also dog friendly (well-behaved owners only please!) This welcoming apartment located on the 1st & 2nd floors has been designed & decorated to an extremely high standard with excellent amenities, outside space & a private parking space. Guests have complete access to all the amenities in Waves. TV, DVD, Wii , Wifi, DVD's & videos, books, games, magazines as well as a fully equipped kitchen including Nespresso coffee machine, with everything you would need for your stay. Access is via a communal front door & hallway and Waves is up the first flight of stairs on the 1st floor and has its own front door.
Waves is owned by Emma who manages & markets the apartment. She is a proud mummy, dog-owner, & a happy VW Camper-van owner. She runs her own business, Blue Sea, a marketing & design company specialising in hospitality marketing Emma moved to South Devon nearly 20 years ago and with beautiful beaches on their doorstep, and the town of Dartmouth nearby, with it's excellent local restaurants, centuries-old pubs, bistros & cafes to enjoy as well as exclusive boutiques & galleries to shop in, Emma & her family wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
The apartment is located in the popular coastal village of Stoke Fleming, a traditional village overlooking stunning Start Bay. There is a popular village pub, the Green Dragon close by, which is both dog & child friendly and serving a fantastic range of drinks as well as pub grub There is an excellent, popular bistro style restaurant Radius 7 opposite, which also does takeaways, & a small hotel open to non-residents with a wonderful sunny terrace & sea-views serving delicious food & drink all day.The village shop & post office has fresh organic bread & pastries daily, & locally supplied vegetables, meat & dairy. There is a great village park, with excellent playground a 5 min walk away. The Southwest coastpath runs right past Waves & the popular blue flag Blackpool Sands beach is less than a mile down the hill. The no. 3 bus goes to Dartmouth (or the other direction to Kingsbridge, via Blackpool Sands and other stunning coastal villages) hourly. The bus stop is located by the entrance to Endsleigh Court. There are a number of excellent taxi companies in nearby too. Stoke Fleming is a great base to explore all of that the South Hams has to offer. There is so much to see and do.
