Hi I'm Phil, I've been coming to Robin Hood's Bay for many years and in 2019 I moved here permanatly having retired from working in the IT industry. Whilst West Royd is my home, due to the fact that historically it had been operated as a B&B, I decided to make use of the facilities to allow room only bookings to those who wish to visit the area.

Located in the picturesque village of Robin Hood's Bay, next door to the Wayfarer and close to the Victoria Hotel. West Royd was historically run as a traditional bed and breakfast for over 20 years. Following the retirement of the previous owners, it is now run exclusively as a 'room only' guest house - NO BREAKFAST I'M AFRAID. There are up to 4 guest rooms available, each offering an old world Victorian charm with the advantage of all mod cons. SADLY THERE IS NO PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE PROPERTY, but the two public carparks are only a couple of minutes away. DOGGIES - We do consider hosting your dog, but we only take small breeds by arrangement for a small additional charge. PLEASE MESSAGE US prior to making your booking to confirm that we are able to accommodate your dog. PLEASE NOTE - dogs MUST NOT be left unattended in the room.
