Whether you're here for walking, relaxing, or switching off completely, this is the kind of place people come back to. It's perfect for couples wanting a relaxing escape, and those that enjoy walking, cycling and outdoor breaks. We love well-behaved dogs, and welcome remote workers and those looking for a longer stay.
After taking over Westmains Lodge in March 2026, we want it to be somewhere we would want to stay ourselves; peaceful, private and finished to high standard, with everything you need to properly switch off.
We love the balance the location offers; you're surrounded by nature with beautiful walks and views right on the doorstep, but just a five minute walk to Callander for great food, coffee, shops and nightlife. It's why we live here!
We want to make your stay as relaxing as possible, so please don't hesitate to ask if there's anything we can help with, whether that's the best local walks, places to eat, or hidden spots nearby. At the same time the lodge is completely self-contained, so you can enjoy total privacy.
Our aim is simple - a stay that feels easy, comfortable and worth coming back to.
Westmains Lodge sits withing a quiet private estate on the edge of Callander. From the doorstep, you can head straight out for walks and outdoor activities. Ben Ledi is nearby for those looking for a more challenging hike, while Loch Venachar offers a beautiful setting for gentler walks, swimming, fishing or simply taking the views.
The surrounding area is ideal for exploring with scenic drives, cycling routes and some of the most beautiful landscapes in Scotland all within easy reach.
