The cottage was the birthplace of Robert Burns’ mother, Agnes Broun in 1732. Burns’ grandfather was a woodcutter for Culzean Estate. The Open Plan Studio Suite provides peaceful accommodation for two people. Ideally situated within 1 mile of the beach on the Ayrshire Coast and only a two mile walk to Culzean Castle and Country Park. There are many stunning views over the Forth of Clyde to Goatfell and Arran. Only 5 miles to Turnberry Lighthouse, which is part of the Ayrshire Coastal Walk. Great for cyclists, walkers and drivers alike! Some excellent restaurants in nearby Maidens, Kirkoswald and Maybole. Fast food places can also deliver! Local shops and garages are 3 miles in either direction.
