What an amazing place to stay, I only wish it was for longer. An excellent breakfast, one of the best I've had while being away, served in the room and accompanied by a beautiful sea view. Can't recommend highly enough and excellent value for money.

The site was nice and quiet, close to local attractions, the shop and the bar and restaurant were closed for most of the week, didn't bother us as we were there for a quiet break to relax, get the dog out and check out the local area but might be an issue for some people. Ten minute drive in a taxi to Girvan if you want to go drinking or 10 minutes in the car to get to the shops so not a big deal for us. We visited Girvan a few times, down the beach mostly to let the dog run around a bit, also went to Dunure which is a nice wee place with a harbour, an old small castle and has a pub and a cafe, pub is dog friendly and we had lunch there, food was really good,not sure about the cafe as we never went, nice wee place to spend a couple of hours.

From when we got there right to the end the staff were very attentive and made us feel so relaxed during our stay was a massive part to this being our favourite place. Checking in was very straight forward and we were pleased before we even got to our room with how helpful, kind and professional the staff were. My partner and I booked here for my 21st when we arrived we had a room upgrade which was amazing. Room was clean, great size , beds were very comfortable. We headed to the 1906 for dinner there was many options staff treated myself and my partner very nicely. Food was great and lots of options. Room service was amazing too food was perfect and plenty of options. So many things to also do around ! The views were outstanding definitely my favourite place.

The hotel is spotless.

The hotel is spotless. We were treated like royalty, the staff were first class. The staff on the door could not do enough for you in particular Stuart both of them and Gary made you feel very welcome. Spa facilities were excellent. The room was top class the only negative was the shower was cold. Highly recommend as a great place for a special occasion.

­Excellent modern, spacious and well equipped apartment. We enjoyed a very relaxing week at Turnberry apartments, with lovely walks around the Trump golf resort, especially the walk to the lighthouse where you can have a coffee and enjoy the views. The staff were very friendly, polite and welcoming when we visited there. We found the local Asda supermarket a few miles away in Girvan to have all the essentials we needed, and Souters Inn at Kirkoswald a few miles north on the A77 has an excellent menu with great food at very reasonable prices, and well worth visiting. Ideal location  for a relaxing getaway break.

We are golfers so Turnberry is the Mecca for golf courses.

We are golfers so Turnberry is the Mecca for golf courses. However it is very expensive to golf there unless you get a deal with the golf club which in itself is very difficult to do without stopping at the hotel and booking through an agency such as Golf Breaks. There is some walking and cycling routes there for people to do if they want.

I love going to Turnberry especially with my dogs as there is a great choice of beaches for them to run about, the site is great for relaxing and the people are so friendly, My caravan was great so clean and comfy it has wifi and they even had a DVD player and DVD's I took my own fire stick and it worked great
