Whitley Farm is a charming 17th-century period farmhouse in Molland, Devon, set in a stunning secluded rural location with outstanding moorland views. Sleeping up to 9 guests plus a cot across five bedrooms, it's ideally suited to a large family group or gathering of friends. The accommodation comprises a super-king bedroom, two king-size bedrooms, a ground-floor twin room, and a single room with a cot, along with three bathrooms, including an upstairs family bathroom with a bath and separate shower, and a ground-floor shower room. The ground floor also features a utility/boot room, a spacious sitting room with a large inglenook fireplace and wood-burner (fitted with a safety guard rail), a country-style kitchen fitted with an American-style fridge freezer, oven and hob, a dining room with its own wood-burner, and a conservatory leading out to the garden. Logs and kindling are provided for the wood-burners during cooler months. Outside, the property enjoys a large, private garden of just under an acre, complete with a pond, offering a peaceful setting on the southern edge of Exmoor National Park with endless walks from the doorstep. A private driveway provides plenty of parking beside the cottage. Dogs are welcome, up to a maximum of three, for a supplementary fee per dog per booking; they should be kept off the furniture and away from the upstairs rooms, and should not be left alone in the property. The property is suitable for children but is not suitable for those with restricted mobility or wheelchair users. It is strictly non-smoking. Bed linen and towels are provided, and electricity, heating and wifi are included in the price. Guests can arrive from 4pm and should depart by 10am.

Molland is a tiny, remote hamlet on the southern edge of Exmoor National Park, set deep in the rolling hills between South Molton and Dulverton in North Devon. This is one of the most peaceful and unspoilt corners of Exmoor, where narrow lanes wind between high hedgerows, red deer roam the open moorland above, and the pace of life has changed very little over the centuries. Molland is renowned for its exceptional medieval church -- St Mary's -- which preserves a remarkable set of 18th-century box pews, a three-decker pulpit, and a Georgian interior virtually untouched since the 1700s. It is considered one of the finest unspoilt church interiors in Devon. The village has a traditional pub, the London Inn, and is surrounded by open Exmoor moorland offering superb walking and wildlife watching from the doorstep. Nearest Services South Molton -- Approximately 6 miles north. A handsome North Devon market town with a good range of independent shops, cafes, a Tesco supermarket, chemist, post office, and a weekly pannier market. Dulverton -- Approximately 10 miles east. A small market town on the southern edge of Exmoor National Park with independent shops, a butcher, a chemist, and the Exmoor National Park Visitor Centre. For larger supermarkets and high street shops, Barnstaple is approximately 18 miles to the north-west and Tiverton approximately 18 miles to the south.
