We loved walking into our large and beautifully furnished accomadation and seeing fresh-cut flowers on the kitchen table. Everything inside was lovely and the bed was comfortable. More than anything else, we loved just being there. We felt so far away from any city noise and enjoyed the sounds of birds and mooing cows, and being greeted by the friendliest dogs each time we arrived or left. The surroundings were stunning and the hosts friendly. We truly enjoyed our time there. Oh, I don't want to forget to say how much we appreciated good signage at the entrance to the property and Jasmine's reaching out to us prior to arrival with great directions and instructions upon arrival.

Peaceful venue with easy walking access to the town and the beach. Has all the facilities we need and after a day out feels like home from home when we return to relax, be it in the garden watching the ducks or sitting at the front watching the sea. Our second visit and didn't disappoint. Used the kitchen and ate in 3 out of 4 nights. The Alcombe Tandoori was nice on the other night and very friendly. Liz and Andrew made us feel welcome and sure we will return next year.

The staff at The Old Ship Run Aground were very welcoming so we went there twice and the food looked good but we didn't eat there. We had good fish and chips on the beach. We did a walk onto Exmoor and another around Dunster which were both great. The kids enjoyed their time at the amusement arcade.

Minehead exceeded expectations.

Minehead exceeded expectations. What a beautiful part of the country with so many places to visit! We visited outside of school holidays and it was quiet and uncongested. There are good eateries around and it is a super base for exploring north-west Somerset.

As the weather was rather warm we sat on the sea front and enjoyed a quickly melting ic-cream!!! My friend enjoyed all the old photos and stories of years past in the monuments on the sea front. We enjoyed our meal in McDonalds. Not very exciting for some, I expect, but my friend and I don't eat at these type of establishments very often. The cold milk shake went down a treat.

Lovely seaside town, the only problem was there were not many places serving food after 8pm.Buses to many other places such as Taunton, Watchet,Lynmouth, Combe Martin and Ilfracombe. The journey to Lynmouth was spectacular as you travelled over part of Exmoor, amazing inland and coastal views. Community bus free of charge to Bridgewater.

Minehead and the coast path were lovely, walking was varied and suitably rugged as a coast path should be. I would recommend having a car, public transport a bit difficult, buses to nearest train station in Taunton a bit infrequent and it's a long bus ride, 1 and half hours

In minehead and could get to everything. Dinner at hotel was good and very well priced. Lovely front of house lady with grey bob hair (sorry didn’t get the name) organised the whole show. Without her I don’t think the hotel would function very well! Parking enough for hotel.
