Winmar is operated as a self-catering unit. We have 12 bedrooms (6 single and 6 double) at the property. Each of our rooms have been listed separately with photos of each of the rooms included with each listing, allowing guests to book the specific room that they like. As we do not provide any meals at the property, there is a communal kitchen which guests are welcome to use to prepare and eat meals in. The kitchen has two ovens and hobs and all the usual facilities that you would expect (kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery, crockery). There is also a washing machine and tumble drier in the kitchen which are available for guest use, at a small charge and there is complimentary liquid detergent supplied. There is also a communal sitting room which guests are welcome to use. There are no staff based on site, however, we have staff on shift 24/7 who are available to assist with any guest issues, they can be contacted via a mobile phone, the number for which is displayed at the property and is emailed to guests when their booking is confirmed. As there are no staff on site, we operate a keyless entry system. After a booking is made, we email guests details of their room number and their door code along with instructions on how to access the property and their room. Arrival is from 3pm, although with the keyless entry system, there is no issue about guests arriving late evening if they have arrived on a late train or flight. Departure is by 10am, again with the keyless entry system if guests need to leave early in the morning to catch an early train or flight this is not a problem.
