Loved the tranquility of the location and how cosy, clean and functional the cabin was. We went to get away from everything and this was the right place to do it. Gary puts a lot of thought into what is in there on your arrival. Robes, slippers,...

Wye Valley Cabin is located on the beautiful and peaceful Brilley mountain. You'll not be disappointed by the unspoilt, panoramic views from the Malvern’s, across the Wye Valley to the Black Mountains. During the day you can enjoy the tranquillity and indulge in your favourite book or take a short, gentle walk across the countryside to the National Trust Cwmmau Farmhouse, or, for the more adventurous you can walk or cycle a little further to pick up the Offa's Dyke path, or even hike Pen-y-Fan, the highest mountain in South Wales. Then, after a busy day you can sit back and relax in the hot tub or cosy up around the fire pit. And on a clear night you can enjoy the most spectacular starry skies! Quaint and cosy this self-catering one bedroom open plan cabin has a king-size double bed, a small kitchen, includes a gas stove, microwave and small fridge and a snug ensuite, with a large shower. The kitchen has everything you need to rustle up that romantic full Welsh/English breakfast, ready to set off into Hay-on-Wye (a 12 minute drive!) and visit the surrounding areas. There's so much to do and see, everything from pony trekking, go-karting, visiting the Kite Centre, canoeing the beautiful River Wye or perhaps visiting local historical artifacts of Hereford City: the Mappa Mundi and Chained library... or visiting beautiful Brecon Cathedral, Eglwys Gadeiriol Aberhonddu and the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. There's a lot on offer!! In the evening you can then dine out in the many local pubs and restaurants or you can choose to have food delivered to your door by our local restaurant and Indian eateries! Perfect for another relaxed evening! The cabin has 4G Wi-Fi and a smart tele. We also provide robes and a hair dryer so you can pack a little lighter. Parking is next to the cabin so you can unload your bags with out having to walk too far. We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful Welsh/English Border of Brilley Mountain.
I enjoy many of the stunning walks and surrounding countryside.
Brilley is situated on the side of a mountain. It is a rural, unspoilt area with agricultural countryside. Your immediate neighbours will be sheep and lambs, depending on time of year! The Cwmmau Farmhouse, National Trust, is a 10 minute stroll from the cabin. For walkers and hikers there are many beautiful walks including the Offa's Dyke path.
