In beautiful Dorset countryside, this luxury Shepherd's Hut sleeps 2 and provides free parking and Wi-Fi. Yew Tree View looks out over fields, and includes a small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, and kitchenware provided. There is also a Smart TV with Netflix and on-demand TV services. This gorgeous hand-made Shepherd's Hut is finished to a very high spec with oak worktops and an en-suite also shower room with wash-basin and toilet.
The property is situated within the grounds of a family home next door, overlooking beautiful Dorset countryside, with a range of public footpaths accessible from the door. This is a perfect, cosy and unique place for a short stop over on business or a romantic break away.
We love the outdoors and love rural Dorset. There are lots of great places to walk nearby as well as some lovely National Trust properties and historic rustic pubs. We love making our guests feel welcome and providing great value accommodation in a beautiful setting.
Around 15 minutes’ drive from Shaftesbury, Yew Tree View provides studio accommodation in the Dorset village of Marnhull, the inspiration for Marlott in Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the d’Urbervilles. This pretty Dorset village has a small convenience store around a 10-minute walk from the Hut, and a beautiful 15th century pub is in walking distance. Dorchester and Salisbury are 30-45 minutes’ drive, the stunning Dorset Jurassic coast is under an hour away with the historic city of Bath a similar distance to the North.
