Moreover, awesome view of the sea and part of the city of Chania is delivered by the apartment’s balcony. A private parking place is provided. The total apartment (upper - 1st- floor of the building) is at guests' disposal where: - All sleeping areas are air-conditioned - 40’’ TV is installed in living room. - Internet access - Electrical appliances are provided for your everyday needs (washing machine, oven, coffee makers, toaster / grill, kettle, electrical stove top etc. - Towels and sheets - Iron & Hair Dryer - Baby equipment can be provided *upon request* before check in (preferably on booking day). - Free parking place is provided - The house is always very clean when guests check in. Galatas village is located in a really privileged position since : - It is only 4km from the gorgeous and scenic old city of Chania - 1 minute driving to the hub connecting the village to the highway which provides access to Souda port (13km), to Chania Airport (25km), to breathtaking beaches and places such as Falasarna, Elafonissi, Kedrodasos, Balos, Sougia, Palaiochora, Chora Sfakion and the rest 3 provinces of Crete (Rethymno, Heraklion and Lasithi) - Famous and beautiful beaches are very easily reachable. Kalamaki and Glaros Beaches in 1.5 km, Chris akti (Golden beach 3,5 km), Aghioi Apostoloi (3km), Stalos beach (3 km), Aghia Marina beach (4km) and more. - Plenty of taverns and restaurants serving traditional Cretan dishes are available in the local area. - Fun, sports and cultural activities for adults and children are within easy reach. (waterpark, go cart, scuba diving centres, surf schools and surf spots, beach bars, historic villages, Monasteries and many more) In 30 seconds walking distance (on the main village road and exactly at the entrance of the road that the house is located) is a bus station for the local bus (passing every 1 hour) that connects Galatas with Chania city. However a car or motorbike is highly recommended.
