Memories of the region and the first hotel business of my parents follows me from the age of 8. Our Hotel, was the only one in the whole area, on the north coast . I was just a young girl with lots of memories: sun, volley games, waves, freedom… Of course, my parents, apart from their jobs, as doctors, were trying to organize that traditional small Hotel. Growing up, I had to do more things. Think about my future! I decided to study Archaeology at the University of Athens and I did it. Even though archeology was my first preference, the conditions and the attitude of the public sector in Greece led me to choose the free- enterprise economic. It fits more into my character, as I am quite active, restless and creative. The last 10 years, I started three major renovations. I gave a lot of energy, time and – of course money- , in order to modernize our family Hotel and give a more fresh profile, but without losing its familiar character. So I can assure you, that running a hotel is a very intense but creative job and when you do it with love and care, compensate you a lot. And the truth is, that my efforts have been rewarded by the satisfaction and smiles of our guests!! SUMMER 2026- A PERSONAL NOTE FROM KATERINA : After a lifetime dedicated to the Corinna Mare, almost 35 years — the place where I grew up, worked, and was shaped as a person through every challenge and every joy — my personal journey with the hotel comes to an end. It has been an honor to continue my parents’ vision and to see our small family dream grow and flourish. I’m deeply grateful to all our guests who became part of this long story — for the trust, the smiles, and the warmth we shared through the years. As this chapter closes, I begin a new and independent one with the creation of Riviera Suites, a project that I conceived and developed entirely on my own — a place that reflects my personal sense of hospitality, simplicity, and timeless charm. This is a Family Hotel since 1977! That means a lot of experience ( from 1995 the second generation runs this Hotel) and care about our guests.The smile of satisfaction of our guests is our biggest reward! We never forget this...
