Gennadi Court is a small development of modern holiday houses and apartments in the centre of Gennadi, a traditional Greek village in the South of Rhodes, the largest of Greece's Dodecanese Islands. The properties enjoy quiet privacy within their own gated courtyard featuring attractive gardens and a large (12m x 6m) private swimming pool surrounded by paved sun terraces. Sun loungers are provided. The Corner House is decorated in a cool minimalist style with interesting furnishings and artwork. It has a comfortable lounge dining area with Wifi internet, smart TV, fully appointed kitchen and two patios for mealtimes. Upstairs the bedrooms boast a king size Vi-Spring bed or pocket sprung singles, fitted wardrobes, hairdryers and joint access to a large panoramic balcony. There's also a double sofa bunk-bed downstairs and a baby cot is available. Bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided for guests. The house is fully air-conditioned and also has heaters and a fireplace in the lounge for cooler evenings. Behind the house is another large private sun terrace where there is additional seating, a barbecue and ample space for bicycles, surfing equipment, kites etc..
The village of Gennadi is 65km from Rhodes International Airport, 22km from the historic town of Lindos and 30km from one of Europe's premier kite & windsurfing hot-spots: Prassonissi, where the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas meet. Just a comfortable distance down the coast away from purpose built tourist resorts and hotels, Gennadi itself offers an alternative: A real Greek village with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, a great choice of restaurants, traditional tavernas, cafes, bars and an unspoilt beachfront whose clear waters hold a 'Blue Flag' award for quality.
Gennadi Court has a perfect location in the village centre. A few steps to the main square where you'll find a supermarket, a butcher, bakery, fresh fruit & vegetables and daily deliveries of fresh fish. There's a grill house, a traditional taverna, pizzeria, and a choice of cafes and bars. Nearby there is also an ATM, a post office, a pharmacy and a medical centre. Gennadi Court is also 400m from the ocean, where you'll find a couple of quiet tavernas and the beautiful beaches. Opposite our building is the main bus stop where you can take regular buses around the island, maybe to Lindos or to Rhodes famous old walled city. You can also take the free bus here to Rhodes' massive Waterpark! Gennadi also has two historic churches, Saint Ioannis Theologos and Byzantine Saint Anastasia..and some other historical points of interest for you to discover...
