It is always hard to speak for yourself; let's put it otherwise. I returned back in my hometown in 2007 and have never regret it so far! I find pleasure in what i call essentials. Nature, creativity (whenever possible!!), a nice hike, a bike ride at the countryside, a morning or sunset dive into the sea, playing with my dog, good friends and trustful relationships! Simple things, yet enough. I will be more than happy to share my perspective of Chania with you.

The house is located in a privileged location; opposite the Museum of El. Venizelos, which used to be his residence and now has been restored and is open to the public. One can enjoy long walks around the area. Within 3' minutes walking distance one can visit Tabakaria, the place where the tanneries used to operate in the 19th century. Tabakaria, nowadays declared as a monument of industrial archaeology, is the most exclusive and therefore most expensive real estate land in the city of Chania. Beside the house lies the church of Agia Magdalini, with a beautiful garden to stroll (a very secure destination for mothers with children who could play free and safe around!). Walking down El. Venizelou street, only 100 meters away from the house, there is a small park alongside the street from where one can enjoy a panoramic view of the sea and the city of Chania; as it looks towards the west, it is a spot promising unforgettable sunsets
